Fun Timer is designed to run locally on your Android device. The timer, history and rewards do not require a user account.
- No personal data collected by us: The app does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to our servers.
- Local storage only: Your sessions (history), preferences and reward progress stay on your device.
- Free edition — ads: The free version may display banner ads through Google AdMob. Ads never appear during an active timer or on the widget. Google may process data under its own privacy policy when you consent via the UMP (User Messaging Platform) form.
- Fun Timer PRO: The separate paid edition contains no ads and does not initialize the advertising SDK.
2. Required Permissions
To function properly, the app may request the following permissions:
- Notifications: To alert you when the timer ends.
- Exact alarms: To ensure a precise timer end even when the app is not open.
- Vibration: To signal the end of a timer (optional, configurable).
- Boot completed: To cleanly cancel an active timer after a device reboot.
Fun Timer does not request access to the camera, microphone, location or external storage.
3. Data Security
All operations are performed locally on your device. No data leaves your phone.
